About Me

Ryan Younker is a 26 year old transgender man who was diagnosed with schizophrenia about 5 years ago. Upon diagnosis, he was admitted to the Early Assessment and Support Alliance Program (EASA). After two years in this program, he was discharged and has been managing his condition with the help of his psychiatric nurse practitioner and therapist. Ryan has a bachelor’s degree in biological anthropology from the University of Oregon, and graduated in 2022. After graduating, he began studying applied anthropology at Oregon State University, earning a master’s degree in 2024.

Ryan has two cats, Timon (6), and Piper (8). After earning his master’s degree, he adopted an elderly chihuahua named Pixie (14). He also has two fish tanks. Ryan loves all of his pets very much, and enjoys taking Pixie for walks and showering all of his pets with treats and cuddles.

In his free time, Ryan is an avid reader and writer. His favorite genre to read is extreme horror. Ryan has been keeping personal diaries since high school, and his most recent diary, which he has been writing in since July of 2024, is over 400 pages long.

By the way, Ryan knows that in the “about me” section that is attached to each post says that someone named “Sophia Bennett” wrote each post. This is false! It’s Ryan! I just don’t know how to remove that section! LOL.
